AceShowbiz - "Jersey Shore" star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is expanding his family with wife Lauren Pesce. In a new Instagram post on Sunday, July 31, the reality TV star broke the news that he and his wife are expecting their second child together.

"We have an amazing announcement!! We're a growing family! Baby on the way," Mike wrote alongside a picture of himself, Lauren and their first child Romeo Reign, whom they welcomed to the family in May 2021. In the new post, he also shared the due date as he added, "January 2023. God is Good."

Lauren also shared the exciting news on Instagram Story, writing, "We're Pregnant!" Meanwhile, Romeo, who wore a blue shirt that appeared to say "big bro" in white letters in the snap shared by Mike, expressed his excitement in a separate post on his own Instagram account, which is run by Mike and Lauren. "Big brother Romeo reporting for duty. Baby coming January 2023," the Sunday post read. The proud dad commented, "Lessss goooooooo."

Prior to this, the couple revealed that they're ready for another baby. "I think we are ready for baby number two. We keep talking about it and we're going to start trying," Mike said.

Lauren then chimed in, noting they don't want to stop at two as the couple has always wanted a big family. "I feel like we've always said three. We love the number three, and it's just like, good vibes," she explained. "But we'll see whatever God blesses us with."

When asked about how she's dealing with life as a new mom, Lauren admitted that while it's been challenging, she's loving every minute. "There's chaos," she shared. "It's just so much fun having a baby. I love it … Being a first-time mom and everything being new, you have no experience to fall back on. It's one of those things you got to figure out for yourself."

Being college sweethearts, Mike and Lauren tied the knot in 2018. Among the attendees at the nuptials were Mike's "Jersey Shore" co-stars, including Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio and Vinny Guadagdino.
