The fan wrote, "iggy really be tossin that big mf." While celebrities sometimes let fans' comments slide, Iggy appeared to feel the need to defend herself.
Retweet-quoting the post, the Australian beauty wrote, "It's a good thing I genuinely feel happy about myself & my body cause y'all stay in every comment section talking the most s**t about me & it's very mean spirited & ugly." She went on to add, "Ps. your man 100% wants to f**k me."
Internet users, however, were confused by Iggy's fierce response as they thought that the fan was actually complimenting her. "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" alum Masika Kalysha wrote underneath The Shade Room's Instagram post about the matter, "Iggy that's a compliment in Black." Supa Cent also commented, "What did I read? Cuz that's how we compliment women lol."
Some others echoed the sentiment. "Sis, that was a compliment, you look good! .Shiiii, I couldn't do that with instructions!" one user said. "I'm…pretty sure…it was…a compliment," someone else added, with another user writing, "She don't know that's a compliment in our community."
That aside, Iggy has been reported to be dating Tory Lanez after calling it quits with Playboi Carti. On June 30, a picture of the femcee and the Canadian star hanging out hit the web. The pair looked cozy during the outing as they sat together on a couch with the mother of one resting her hand on his knee.
Gossip of the City, which obtained the snap, claimed in a Twitter post, "Tory Lanez and Iggy are messing around . It's been going on for a few weeks now."
Further fueling the rumors, Tory recently gushed over Iggy's cooking skills. Praising Iggy over her appetizing dish that she shared on Instagram Stories, The Shade Room wrote in a post, "Wayment! Lemme find out #IggyAzalea can throw down some oxtail! And the seasoning display is stacked!" Tory noticed the post and raved, "it was hitting too," insinuating that she's ever cooked for him.
