Also unveiled during Warner Bros. panel at San Diego Comic-Con are a new trailer of 'Black Adam' and another sneak peek showing Viola Davis' return as Amanda Waller.

AceShowbiz - Warner Bros. has debuted the first full trailer of "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. Unveiled during the show's presentation on Saturday, July 23, the trailer shows Zachary Levi's titular character having a therapy session.

Seemingly still struggling to adjust to his new powers, Billy Batson (Asher Angel) vents out his frustration about being a superhero in the world where there are already more formidable heroes, but he appears to turn to the wrong person for help. The video confirms that Shazam, The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Batman (Ben Affleck) exist in the same universe.

Facing the new big baddies, Billy recruits his foster siblings who are now also gifted with superpowers. The video also gives a look at Djimon Hounsou as the ancient wizard Shazam, Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu as Hespera and Kalypso respectively a.k.a. the daughters of Atlas.

"We got this cool look into kids getting superpowers," Levi said at the panel. "It's a couple of years on, and (the kids) are doing various missions, helping the city of Philadelphia," he explained where the story takes place.

"We're figuring out our own identity," the actor went on sharing, with "little family tiffs and things." He, however, had his lips sealed when asked about whether Shazam would fight Black Adam, replying, "Next question…no idea, no idea."

While there's no mention of Black Adam in the "Shazam! 2" trailer, the anti-hero was also part of WB's panel with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson making his presence in his alter ego's costume. The audience was also treated to a new trailer and another sneak peek of the movie.

The trailer shows Black Adam getting advice from Doctor Fate (Pierce Brosnan) about embracing his fate as the savior of the world, while giving a look at the Justice Society members, including Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone.

Meanwhile, the other sneak peek teases Viola Davis' return as Amanda Waller. In the new footage, the "Suicide Squad" character calls in the Justice Society of America to lock Black Adam down, as he's a loose cannon.

"Shazam! Fury of the Gods" has David F. Sandberg returning at the helm and is set to open in U.S. theaters on December 21. Meanwhile, "Black Adam" is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and is scheduled to arrive earlier on October 21.
