Earlier this month, the 'There Goes My Baby' crooner was spotted vacationing in Idaho with the 'Justice' star, Hailey Bieber, Jason Kennedy and his wife Lauren Scruggs.

AceShowbiz - Usher has spoken out about his recent vacation to Idaho with his pal Justin Bieber. In a new interview, the "There Goes My Baby" crooner also shared an update on the "Justice" star's condition amid Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.

Speaking to Extra, the 43-year-old musician revealed, "[Justin] is doing great." He added, "Seeing him on vacation, we managed to hang out with each other, and I think that whatever he may be experiencing right now, it's actually really great to see that he has the support from his fans and his family."

"As an artist, I think we are all going to experience some things that people may not necessarily understand," Usher told the outlet, noting that a professional performer's life "comes with a great deal of pressure."

"The Voice" alum went on to praise the Canadian star's career path over the past decade. "[Justin] has obviously taken the world on a journey. I am happy that I was at the beginning of, and I am still a part of [his journey] to this day, as a friend," he gushed.

"I think [Justin] has obviously taken the world on a journey," continued the "Yeah!" performer, who signed a then-teenage Justin to Raymond Braun Media Group, a company he co-owns with Scooter Braun, in 2008. He later added, "I am happy that I was at the beginning of and I am still a part of to this day, as a friend."

Usher and Justin have since collaborated on 2009's "First Dance", 2010's "Somebody to Love (Remix)", 2011's "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On an Open Fire)" and 2021's "Peaches (Remix)".

While in Idaho, Justin and his wife Hailey Baldwin were photographed smiling on a boat and watching their friends, including Usher, Jason Kennedy and his wife Lauren Scruggs, as they swam in the water. He also appeared like he was in a great mood with a wide smile as he enjoyed a ride down an inflatable slide.

Justin shocked fans last month when he opened up about his diagnosis, which is a complication of shingles that can lead to facial paralysis, in a shocking video, in which it was apparent that he's unable to move the right side of his face. "As you can see this eye is not blinking. I can't smile on this side of my face; this nostril will not move. So there's full paralysis on this side of my face," he said in the clip he posted on June 10.

"This is pretty serious, as you can see. I wish this wasn't the case, but, obviously, my body's telling me I've got to slow down," he said of canceling his remaining U.S. "Justice World Tour" dates. "I hope you guys understand. I'll be using this time to just rest and relax and get back to a hundred percent so that I can do what I was born to do."
