AceShowbiz - The sex of Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's second child has been revealed after it was confirmed that their expecting another child via surrogate. A source revealed on Thursday, July 14 that the former couple is going to welcome a baby boy, according to E! News.
Page Six corroborated the gender information. A source told the site, "Khloe has always wanted a little brother for True and decided to go ahead with having the baby with the support of her family."
While Khloe and Tristan have not personally addressed the baby news, her sister Kim Kardashian has revealed on "The Kardashians" that the Good American founder has been hoping to have a baby boy. Their yet-to-be-born child will join big sister True, who was born in April 2018.
A spokesperson for Khloe said in a statement on Wednesday, "We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We'd like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family."
The baby was conceived prior to the revelation that Tristan had cheated on Khloe and fathered another child with Maralee Nichols, a son named Theo, in June last year.
According to a source, Khloe wanted to keep the decision to expand their family a secret, not only for her surrogate's sake but also "to protect her mental health from judgement from the public as a result of Tristan's actions." But after the story leaked, "Khloe's hand was forced to confirm the pregnancy," the so-called insider continued, "before she was ready to announce, and even before she had the opportunity to personally tell her closest family and friends."
Despite expecting another child together, Khloe and Tristan are reportedly not back together. In fact, they reportedly have not spoken to each other since December of last year outside of co-parenting matters, according to E! News. "The baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloe and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else in December," a source told the site.
