AceShowbiz - Offset no longer faces legal trouble, at least for now. It was unveiled that a car company, which was suing the one-third of Migos over a missing Bentley, has decided to drop the $1 million lawsuit against him.

According to court documents obtained by Rolling Stone, Platinum Transportation Group has requested that the court dismiss the breach of contract complaint "without prejudice." It means they can re-file in court sometime in the future.

"The case was not settled," Platinum's lawyer, Bryan M. Thomas, said in a statement. "We are simply changing venue and will be refiling in the federal northern district court of Georgia."

Bosses at Platinum Transportation Group in Los Angeles launched legal action against Offset for the disappearance of the luxury motor, which he rented in 2020. In the complaint, it was stated that the emcee told the company that he wasn't the owner of the car and reported it stolen around July 4 that year.

Company bosses also claim Offset stopped making payments on the car after his lease was up on 25 July, despite failing to return the vehicle, and filed a police report.

Thus, they filed the lawsuit and asked for a $950,027.35 reimbursement. The husband of Cardi B, however, insisted that it wasn't him who rent the car. He blamed Oriel Williams, who is the mother of one of his children, instead.

"I did not steal the car, and I reported the car missing to PML as soon as I was advised by Williams that the car could not be located," he said in a statement. "In or about July 2020, I was informed by PML that the car was reported stolen to the Los Angeles Police Department and that they were investigating the theft of the car."

"I was never in possession of the car and - to my knowledge - was not listed as an 'additional driver' on the rental agreement," the rapper continued. "I had rented cars from PML in the past, however, and they had both my Georgia driver's license and credit card on file."
