AceShowbiz - The Pretty Reckless has been forced to cancel the first three dates of their upcoming tour with Halestorm. The alternative rock band made the decision after vocalist Taylor Momsen tested positive for COVID-19.
The group shared the announcement on Instagram on Thursday, July 7. "Despite our best efforts, COVID finally bit. We could not wait to get back on the road with our friends in Halestorm, but wait we will have to," they first penned.
"We're following CDC guidelines and we'll be missing this weekend's shows in Detroit, Milwaukee and Kansas City," the message further read. "We hope to feel better soon and will make it out to the very first venue we can, so stay tuned for real time updates here."
On the same day, Taylor took to her own Instagram page to post a picture of her positive test result. In the caption, the former actress who portrayed Jenny Humphrey on "Gossip Girl" simply wrote, "Yup…FML."
Fans have since sent well wishes to the singer. "Chin up, you’ll be right back at it in no time. Hope you feel better and heal up quick!!" one person commented. "I hope you get well soon. We send you much love to the distance," another added.
A third individual chimed in, "im so sorry tay. i love you and i hope you feel better soon! all the hugs to you." Someone else, meanwhile, replied, "I was looking forward to seeing you guys this Saturday BUT I hope you feel better soon pal. I'll be here waiting and ready to rock when you are all healthy."

Since they postponed the show, The Pretty Reckless is now set to join Halestorm on July 12 at the TCU Amphitheater at White River State Park in Indianapolis, Indiana.
