AceShowbiz - Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Matthews have treated their online devotees to a cute gender reveal video. Nearly a month after confirming that they are expecting their second child together, the couple unveiled they are expecting a baby boy.
The clip, which was shared on Instagram on Sunday, June 26, featured Patrick and Brittany's loved ones guessing the gender of their unborn baby. As the clip transitioned, the pair sprayed blue paint out of squirt guns, confirming that they are expecting a son.
The pregnant mom was clearly excited upon learning of the news. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback also couldn't hide his excitement as he jumped in the pool at the end of the footage.
Patrick and Brittany went public with her second pregnancy on May 29. Making use of their respective Instagram accounts, they uploaded a series of pictures that saw the pair and their 16-month-old daughter Sterling.
In the first two photos, the toddler was wearing a pink t-shirt that read, "I have a secret to tell you," and was holding up a sign that declared, "Baby sister duties coming soon." The last picture shared saw Patrick and Brittany along with Sterling, who stood in the middle of them, holding up an ultrasound image. Along with the post, they wrote a caption that simply read, "Round 2!"
Patrick and Brittany's relationship go way back. They started out as friends while attending Whitehouse High School, and their romance developed ever since. The couple got engaged in September 2020, and the two finally tied the knot on March 12, 2022 in Hawaii.
Of their nuptials, a source told E! News, "Brittany and Patrick's wedding day was very peaceful and fun." The unnamed informant further elaborated, "They really did look so in love; they never left each other's side."
