Defending herself, the 19-year-old dancer says that she can tell about every dance style and that she grew up in a dance studio after many doubted her credibility for the gig.

AceShowbiz - JoJo Siwa is standing up for herself. The 19-year-old dancer has slammed online trolls who criticized her after she was announced as the new judge on "So You Think You Can Dance".

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the former star of "Dance Moms" said, "Listen, I'm the first one to hate on myself. Like, you cannot tell me anything that I haven't already told myself. However, when you are saying something about me that is blatantly not true, that drives me mad."

"I grew up in a dance studio. Literally from the time I was two I did my first solo, then I went to be on 'Dancing with the Stars', now I'm a judge on 'So You Think You Can Dance'," JoJo continued fuming. "I could tell you about every dance style. Am I the smartest dancer in the world? By no means. Am I the most knowledgeable dancer in the world? By no means," she said, before stressing, "But I am smart enough to be a judge on 'So You Think You Can Dance', absolutely."

"And I don't like being that person that's like, 'I am good at this' but if I had to put a list of things down of things I know the most about, dance would be number one on that list," she added. "So, when people are saying that I'm not knowledgeable enough to be a judge, I'm just like, 'Ya just don't know, ya just sound silly.' "

This wasn't the first time JoJo hit back at social media trolls who doubted her credibility for the gig. Last month, a critic took to Twitter to share that he was actually hoping that JoJo left the FOX dancing competition show instead of Matthew Morrison.

"Dammit. I saw the headline 'Judge Leaves #sytycd' and got all excited. Yes! @itsjojosiwa was out!" the person said. "But, nope. It was Matthew Morrison. Dammit! I thought he brought the broadway perspective to the show. Maybe not an expert on dance, but on showmanship. Still won't watch."

In response, JoJo wrote back, "Literally why tweet this?" In a separate post, the "Boomerang" singer listed a few accomplishments that she has throughout her career. "18 Years of Dance Knowledge. 4 Major dance TV shows. I've hired over 1000 dancers. 16 Dance music videos. If you don't like me that's okay… but if you think I don't know about dance ya just sound silly," she tweeted.
