The former Black Sabbath frontman takes to his social media account to express his gratitude for fans' love and support after he underwent a major procedure that will 'determine' his life.

AceShowbiz - Ozzy Osbourne made use of his Instagram account to thank his fans for their support after he had a major surgery. On Wednesday, June 15, the former Black Sabbath frontman took to the photo-sharing platform to share that he's recovering and grateful for the love.

"I am now home from the hospital recuperating comfortably," the 73-year-old rocker assured his fans on the post. "I am definitely feeling the love and support from all my fans and send everyone a big thank you for their thoughts, prayers and well wishes during my recovery."

Ozzy was discharged from a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday, and his wife Sharon Osbourne recently revealed that the musician was "doing well" after he underwent the major procedure on Monday. "Our family would like to express so much gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support leading up to Ozzy's surgery! Ozzy is doing well and on the road to recovery! Your love means the world to him," she wrote on Instagram.

Sharon first detailed Ozzy's important procedure in the June 10 episode of her British talk show "The Talk". "He has a very major operation on Monday, and I have to be there," she revealed. "It's really going to determine the rest of his life."

The family didn't reveal just what was being done through the surgery. However, a family source told Page Six that Ozzy, who is also suffering from Parkinson's disease, was having "the pins in his neck and back realigned from when he had a fall back in 2019." The insider also added that he would need a nurse at home during the "lengthy amount of convalescence" he'll need.

Back in April, Sharon's pal Piers Morgan asked her regarding updates on Ozzy's health. "How is Ozzy, my great man? He is just one of my favorite people in the world. Been through the health wars a bit, how's he doing?" so he asked during Sharon's appearance on "Piers Morgan Uncensored". "He's doing okay, he sends you his love. He's got one more operation left to do and then he's dying to come back home," she replied.

The former "The Talk" co-host previously admitted that she had to pay extra attention to Ozzy because of his health issues. "It's very difficult, because the combination of the Parkinson's and his accident, you go, 'Well, which one is this? Why's this happening? Why's that happening?' " she divulged.
