According to a new report, despite the 18-year-old singer's success so far, things are slipping into 'chaos' behind the scenes due to his mom and talent manager, Sloane Howard.

AceShowbiz - The Kid LAROI is at the height of his career following the huge success of his hit song "STAY". The musician, however, seemingly has to keep an eye on his mom as music insiders claim that his mom can destroy his career.
Sources spill to Page Six that despite the 18-year-old singer's success so far, things are slipping into "chaos" behind the scenes. The insiders note the fact that LAROI is currently cycling through top managers and lawyers in the U.S. entertainment is a factor, along with guidance from his single mom.
"He's been through so many managers and lawyers because of the mom," the insiders allege. "They all love him, but the mom has been bad for his career."
LAROI, whose debut album "14 with a Dream" was released in 2018, has Billboard Top 10 hits with Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus. The Australian rapper previously signed to industry power manager Scooter Braun. However, it only lasted for three months as he jumped ship to Adam Leber's Rebel Management, which manages Lil Nas X.
Sources claim that the talent manager and his people felt like LAROI's team was "controlling and verbally abusive." The insiders go on to share, "There are too many cooks in the kitchen and so many people wearing different hats. His mom is the [co-manager] and she makes that abundantly clear - like, every day. No one wants to work with that. How do you go through all these very reputable well-named managers and lawyers in mere months?"
Leber and LAROI eventually ended their partnership in May and the musician has since reunited with Scooter. It was said that they made the deal with assurance that the talent manager "will be directly involved in overseeing all aspects of the artist's career."
LAROI described his mom as his best friend and greatest protector. She is an experienced talent manager and music executive who has guided the career of a winner of the Aussie equivalent of "American Idol" among others. However, Sloane was recently arrested for credit card fraud. While she pleaded not guilty, insiders argue that it is another reason why she's "unstable."
A source close to LAROI previously claimed to the news outlet, "She turned herself in." The insider also noted that it's "not a new" situation, adding that the musician's mom "is handling [it]."
