The 'Shinigami Eyes' singer is the latest celebrity to offer her helping hands to Ukrainian people after Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively, as well as Mila Kunis and her husband Ashton Kutcher.

AceShowbiz - Grimes announced that she's auctioning off her 2021 Met Gala accessories for a good cause. After the "Shinigami Eyes" singer revealed that she will give the money for BIPOC families in Ukraine, fans praised the musician for her generosity.

The 34-year-old shared the announcement on Instagram on Sunday, May 16. "Hey guys - I'm auctioning stuff from my Met gala look last year to raise money to help get BIPOC families out of Ukraine since they're having trouble exiting at the border," she began her message.

"@turnerturner and HVW8 Gallery exhibited the works of 50 distinguished artists who aim to support Emergency Response & BIPOC families (black, indigenous, and people of color) in and out of Ukraine," she added.

"Each piece offers a unique interpretation of the theme 'resistance.' The work will simultaneously be auctioned online via the Artsy exchange," the former girlfriend of Elon Musk continued. "All proceeds will go to Diaspora Relief and Razom, which will use the funds to provide food, shelter, and evacuation support to those in need."

She went on to note, "Bidding will be open exclusively on Artsy and will begin closing at 12:00pm PDT (3:00pm EDT) on Thursday, May 26, 2022."

Many have since applauded Grimes. One fan in particular gushed, "so proud of you!!!" Another commented, "This is such an important thing your doing thank you Claire." A third raved, "Stay amazing, thank you for using your platform to make a difference."

Grimes is the latest celebrity who made an effort to help Ukraine following Russia's invasion. Kim Kardashian announced in March that she and her brand SKIMS would give donation to World Central Kitchen "in an effort to support their on-the-ground efforts to aid the Ukrainian people."

Gigi Hadid, meanwhile, pledged to donate her earnings from 2022 fashion shows to Ukraine. Other stars who also offered their helping hands to Ukrainian people are Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher as well as Bella Hadid.
