AceShowbiz - Ludacris exactly knows what he deserves. Having received an honorary degree from Georgia State University in his hometown of Atlanta, the Tej Parker depicter in "Fast and Furious" film series revealed that he rewarded himself with a new private plane.
The rapper/actor gave fans a look at his private by sharing a video of him going inside the plane on Instagram. "We're moving on up. To the east side. To a deluxe apartment in the sky," he said while showing off the interior design. In the accompanying message, he penned, "Bought Myself A Little Graduation Gift #familyupgrade #motivation."
Many have since rushed to the comment section to praise Ludacris for his achievement. "Yoooooooooooo you a certified BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fire king fire," Tyrese Gibson exclaimed. "You KNOW it's one of my dreams to have my own plane and this is now plane #2 for you……. Yeah it's true my friends are superheroes…….. Congratulations!!!!!!!! Damn CB!!!! You killed on this!!!!!!"
Swizz Beatz gushed, "That boy been had his own jets." Juicy J raved, "Hard, congrats mane." Fat Joe, in the meantime, sent out a series of fire emojis.
Ludacris received his honorary degree at the Center Parc Credit Union Stadium earlier this month. He got his Bachelor of Science in Music Management. During his speech, the 44-year-old said, "GSU, I am home right now. I owe Georgia State University a great debt because you helped me to arrive at my 'why?' "
"My time on campus sharpened my skills. It gave me confidence that my path was preordained," the "F9" actor continued. He went on to add, "That I was exactly where I was supposed to be. Doing exactly what I was supposed to be doing."
Ludacris, who enrolled in the same program in 1996 but dropped out two years later after signing a deal with Def Jam Records, further reflected, "Though I left school I was never gone because this institution had become a part of me." He added, "It was a part of my fabric and DNA. My heart never strayed far from its steps and my commitment to someday return, and finish, was ever-present."
