In a brief statement to reporters, Brian Steel insists that the 'Stoner' rapper 'committed no crime' and he's determined to 'fight to my last drop of blood to clear him.'

AceShowbiz - Young Thug's lawyer has spoken up after his client was arrested on gang-related charges. When asked for a comment on the matter by reporters, Brian Steel had a dramatic response while maintaining the rapper's innocence.

"I'll tell you the response to any allegation; Mr. Williams committed no crime whatsoever," Steel said on Monday night, May 9. He went on sharing his vow, "We will fight to my last drop of blood to clear him."

Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, was arrested earlier on Monday at a Buckhead mansion after the home where he was at was raided. The Grammy Award-winning artist has been booked into Fulton County Jail on charges of Conspiracy to Violate the Racketeer influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) and Participation in Criminal Street Gang Activity.

The conspiracy charge stems from an alleged incident that occurred on January 24, 2013 while the gang charge is connected to an alleged offense from May 12, 2018. He is also accused of commissioning the use of a 2014 Infiniti sedan that he rented from Hertz and was used in the 2015 murder of 26-year-old Donovan Thomas Jr. The 30-year-old will make his first court appearance Tuesday at 11:30 A.M.

Thugger isn't the only rapper dragged in the RICO case. Gunna and 26 other men associated with Young Stoner Life (YSL) record label have reportedly been listed in a 56-count indictment. Gunna, born Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, has been charged with one count of conspiring to violate RICO, but it's unknown if he has been or will be arrested.

Two other YSL associates, Christian "Big Bhris" Eppinger and Antonio Sumlin, are accused of seeking Thug's permission to make a second murder attempt on YFN Lucci during his imprisonment in Fulton County Jail. Eppinger was arrested earlier this year in the shooting of an Atlanta police officer.
