In a new episode of 'The Kardashians', Scott also shares that he isn't that surprised by his ex and baby mama's engagement to Travis Barker though there is one thing about it that upsets him.

AceShowbiz - Scott Disick reveals his reaction to the news of Kourtney Kardashian being engaged to Travis Scott (II) in a new episode of "The Kardashians". In the Thursday, May 5 episode, Scott shared that he wasn't that surprised by the news involving his ex and mother of their three kids.

"I wasn't that caught off guard. I thought that they'd already be married [from] the way that she was talking. It wasn't crazy," Scott told Khloe Kardashian. "Thank God, because at another time in my life, if I'd heard that, life would've been over for me."

Instead, the "Flip It Like Disick" star felt relieved that Kourtney had someone "taking care of her." Calling the engagement "a good thing," the restaurateur went on to add, "I kind of, in a selfish way, feel like a lot has been lifted off of me." He continued, "I couldn't do the job of being with her, so I salute Travis. He's in for a lot of work...Kourtney is not the simplest when it comes to everything."

While Scott is happy for Kourtney and her engagement to the Blink-182 drummer, he was upset that their kids, Mason (12), Penelope (9) and Reign (7), weren't present for the big moment. Explaining the matter, Khloe said that the kids weren't invited because they were "too young."

"[The kids] didn't understand why they were watching TikToks of his kids there and they weren't there," Scott argued. "Hopefully they're invited to the wedding…[Penelope] would've been ecstatic. We're acting like the place is 10 hours away."

The episode also revealed that Penelope broke down in tears upon learning of her mom's engagement. "Penelope took it hard," she shared. "I think it's a big change for her. Even though she loves Travis, I think she doesn't know what this means. Like, is that taking me away? I think she just doesn't know what it means."

The Poosh founder moved on to call her youngest son, Reign. While he didn't cry, he called the news "not exciting." Mason, meanwhile, did not answer the phone.

Kourtney was understandably upset upon seeing how her children reacted to her engagement. "I do wish that my kids were here," the 43-year-old reality star admitted. "I think it would've made them feel more included in the decision, kind of, and part of the surprise. I know that my mom made the decision and it probably wasn't her best."
