Through her Instagram account, the 'Fancy' hitmaker puts up series of pictures from her little boy Onyx's belated birthday party, and shares that being his mom is a joy.

AceShowbiz - When it comes to celebrating her son's special day, Iggy Azalea apparently understands the assignment very well. The "Fancy" hitmaker has thrown one fun-themed bash for the good-spirited Onyx's 2nd birthday.

On Tuesday, May 3, the "Black Widow" raptress shared on her Instagram account a series of pictures from the birthday celebration. In the photos, it could be seen that the party had a dinosaur theme with colorful balloons as well as a bounce house, slide and dino-shaped pinatas. The children attending the bash were also unraveled in the snaps to be wearing dinosaur masks.

One picture in particular saw Iggy kissing Onyx as he was eating his birthday cupcake. Another one displayed the birthday boy blowing his candles. The Australian raptress has also shared the moment when her son was breaking the pinata.

"Baby was sick last week so today we had his party! Happy Birthday Onyx!" the 31-year-old raptress wrote in the caption of her celebration post. "Being your mama is a joy, I love how kind you are to everyone, always sharing and always in good spirits… even when you're sick, you still smile. I love youuuuu."

Iggy gave birth to Onyx in June 2020. She shared the toddler with former partner Playboi Carti. She first revealed his birth via Instagram Story. "I have a son. I kept waiting for the right time to say something," she wrote at the time, "But it feels like the more time passes, the more I realize I'm always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world."

The "Team" raptress then went on to add, in the since-expired Story, that she wanted to "keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret." She emphasized that she "love him beyond words."

In July 2021, Iggy talked to PEOPLE about her experience as a new mother. She shared that being a mom had taught her to "go with the flow a little bit more" when it came to her work because she was "such a perfectionist." She admitted, "I'm used to having everything be perfect. But with a kid, you have to be much more spontaneous in your life and just be like, 'Oh, f**k it.' You know what I mean?"
