AceShowbiz - Jonathan Wright is still on Megan Thee Stallion's side in the shooting case involving Tory Lanez despite rumors that they fell out. The former stylist of the Texas native admitted that he wanted to beat the Canadian spitter after he found out about the shooting.

Jonathan shared his side of the story about his friendship with Megan and the shooting case during an interview on "Beyond The Chair". "I wanted to beat Tory Lanez," he told the co-hosts of his reaction. "If he run up, it's done."

Jonathan also clarified that he still maintains a good relationship with Megan. "We ain't never ended our friendship," he brushed off the rumors. "A lot of people think we fell out, but we're real friends."

Jonathan then backed up Megan's claim that Tory offered her and her former BFF Kelsey Nicole $1 million to keep quiet. He additionally claimed that he was also offered hush money. "Did you know he tried to pay her off?" one of the hosts asked. "Yeah! He DM'd me. He went the wrong way," Jonathan responded.

Megan herself recently sat down for her first TV interview about the shooting case. Speaking with "CBS Mornings" co-host Gayle King, she broke down in tears when detailing the July 2020 incident.

"It was an argument because I was ready to go and everybody else wasn't ready to go. But that's, like, normal friend stuff," she recounted the moment leading up to the shooting. "It shouldn't have got this crazy."

"So I get out of the car and it's like everything happens so fast. And all I hear is this man screaming. And he said, 'Dance, b***h.' And he started shooting," the Grammy-winning femcee continued. "And I'm just like, 'Oh, my God.' Like, he shot a couple of times. And I was so scared."

Noting that Tory was "standing up and shooting over the window, shooting," Megan added, "I didn't want to move, I didn't want to move too quick because if I take the wrong step I don't know if he would shoot something that's super important or he could shoot me and kill me." The female rapper went on to stress that she "was really scared" at that time "because [she] have never been shot at before."

Megan revealed that Tory's reaction after shooting her was offering her hush money. "He said, 'I'm so sorry. Please don't tell nobody. I'll give y'all $1 million if y'all don't say nothing.' And I'm like, 'What are you talking about? Why are you offering me money right now? Help me. And if you're sorry, just help me,' " she claimed.
