In an attempt to clear his name, the South Florida rapper shares a screenshot with claims that Lil Wayne is the one 'who tried to get with [Latto] for a feature.'

AceShowbiz - Kodak Black is doubling down on his statement that he's not the one who gave Latto (Mulatto) a hard time with feature. On Saturday, April 16, the "ZEZE" rapper took to his Instagram account to react to claims that the male collaborator that Latto was referring to in her recent interview was actually Lil Wayne.
In an attempt to clear his name, Kodak shared a screenshot with claims that Lil Wayne was the one "who tried to get with [her] for a feature and not Kodak Black." Lil Wayne teamed up with Latto and Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) for "Sunshine", which is among the tracks of the femcee's latest album "777".
Kodak seemingly upset that fans didn't drag Lil Wayne just like how they did to him when speculations were made that he was the difficult male collaborator whom Latto called out. "My thing is Why Tf this ain't go viral like that other one when people was just automatically assuming me for no reason??? This lil internet s**t krazy y'all stay on a n***a d**k dawg be tryna make this perception of me for people to see on this s**t when it come to me but f**k ya. MONEY GOOD," the South Florida rapper ranted in the caption.
Earlier this month, Mandii B of the "Whoreible Decisions" podcast named Lil Wayne as the rapper who made it difficult for Latto to secure a feature because she didn't reply to a DM. "To be fair, Latto did not confirm that it was actually Kodak," Mandii B said. Even though she appeared to be hesitant at first, she eventually spilled, "I will say, the tea I got -- so I don't even know if I can share this tea but it's old now. I actually heard it was Wayne, from someone that knows him."
Meanwhile, this wasn't the first time for Kodak to deny the accusations leveled at him. "That Mulatto girl is NOT talkin' bout me homie," Kodak clarified in a tweet. "Shawty ain't even say a n***a name." Kodak's producer Dyryk additionally blasted Latto, calling her story "bulls**t." He said at the time, "She asked for a feature a while back. We charged her our normal rate and she wanted a swap."
"Since her verse won't really do anything for us, we asked for a swap for our female artist and charged her substantially less. She declined and said she was going to not use the record. You're whole album had legal issues (I'm on the email chain) stop tryna pull this fictions fueled empathy card for sales," he continued. He additionally accused Latto of character assassination, saying, "You try to assassinate my brothers character, I'm gonna destroy yours."
