According to a new report, Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes are set to direct the upcoming Marvel show, which will star Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams a.k.a. Iron Man's mentee.

AceShowbiz - More details about Marvel's "Ironheart" are here. It has been revealed that the upcoming Disney+ series about Iron Man's mentee Riri Williams has tapped famed director Ryan Coogler to produce it.
The "Black Panther" director's production company Proximity is on board the project, which will star Dominique Thorne. Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes, meanwhile, are set to direct the show.
Bailey is the co-creator of "Brown Girls" and "You're So Talented". She additionally served as a director/producer on the final season of Netflix's "Dear White People". Her other credits included "Grown-ish" and "The Chi".
Barnes, meanwhile, directed episodes of "Mythic Quest" and "Blindspotting". She also served behind the lense of at least one installment from the fourth and final season of "Atlanta" fourth and final season.
Sharing the news on Instagram was Barnes. In a post on Monday, April 11, Barnes referenced the Marvel Cinematic Universe's mandate of ultimate secrecy. "I can finally talk about my new job! Well, not about the cast, storyline or production schedule, but now you know the project. Can't wait for y'all to see it!!" she wrote in the caption.
Bailey even created an Instagram account to celebrate the gig. "Not gonna lie...got on insta just for this," she captioned her screenshot of the big reveal. "excited to be bring this story to the screen with chinakahodge @loveangelabarnes and the whole damn team. y'all ain't ready."
"Ironheart" follows Iron Man's mentee/successor Riri Williams, who was first introduced to Marvel Comics in Invincible Iron Man in 2016. She's described as a teenage genius who adopted the persona of Ironheart while Tony Stark was incapacitated during the major conflict of Civil War II. She later became an armored superhero similar to Iron Man.
In addition to Thorne, "Ironheart" will star Anthony Ramos, LyricRoss and Harper Anthony. Disney+ has yet to reveal the release date for the six-episode series.
