The 'I Wanna Love You Forever' hitmaker admits that she enjoys a 'good proud cry today,' as she takes to social media to celebrate the return of her old figure with a two-piece swimsuit selfie.

AceShowbiz - Jessica Simpson is starting off spring break with a bang. On Thursday, April 7, the "I Wanna Love You Forever" hitmaker proudly showed off her bikini body after losing 100 pounds for the third time.

Making use of Instagram, the 41-year-old singer posted the selfie. In the picture, she looked ecstatic, wearing a two-piece pink pattern swimsuit. "I have gained and lost 100lbs 3x so I never thought this moment could or would happen," she wrote in the caption, "but I'm finally spring breakin' wearin' a BIKINI!!!!!!"

Jessica further noted that she was finally able to step out in a bikini because of "hard work, determination, and self love." The older sister of Ashlee Simpson then concluded her caption with a confession that she "enjoyed a good proud cry today."

Days earlier, on Monday, April 4, Jessica also uploaded a picture of her lounging on a hanging basket chair. At the time, she was captured wearing a bikini but covered the top part of her body with a big hat. Her pose significantly hid her figure from prying eyes but highlighted her long, toned legs.

"The Dukes of Hazzard" actress had been working hard to maintain a healthy figure. In September 2019, she shared a progress of her weight loss journey via Instagram with a caption that read, "6 months. 100 pounds down. So proud to feel like myself again." She told fans that "even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder."

With the help of personal trainer Harley Pasternak, Jessica was also able to start a healthier approach for her diet journey. In May 2020, Harley shared to E! News that Jessica was able to lose weight by walking 14,000 steps per day and focusing on eating lean proteins and veggies. Their focus was to make sure that her diet would be sustainable for a long time.
