During her first appearance since co-hosting the 2022 Oscars with Wanda Sykes, the 'I Feel Pretty' actress also reveals what Oscars jokes that she wasn't allowed to say on TV.

AceShowbiz - Amy Schumer still has a lot to say about Will Smith and Chris Rock's drama at the 2022 Oscars. During her first appearance since co-hosting the Oscars with Wanda Sykes, the comedienne further commented on Will slapping Chris onstage.

During her appearance on Saturday, April 2 at Las Vegas' Mirage Theater as part of the Aces of Comedy series, Amy likened Will to Muhammad Ali. "I was kind of feeling myself … and then all of a sudden Ali was making his way up," she said.

"And it was just a f**king bummer," the "I Feel Pretty" actress added. "All I can say is that it was really sad, and I think it says so much about toxic masculinity." After praising Chris for handling the situation "like a pro," Amy said that the whole ordeal was "really upsetting."

Amy also revealed what Oscars jokes that she wasn't allowed to say on TV. "But I think the best way to comfort ourselves would be for me to say the Oscar jokes that I wasn't allowed to say on TV," she quipped. " 'Don't Look Up' is the name of a movie? More like don't look down the barrel of Alec Baldwin's shotgun. I wasn't allowed to say any of that, but you can just come up and [slap] someone," she added, referring to the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of "Rust" last year.

Prior to this, Amy shared that she felt "triggered and traumatized" by the Oscars slap. "I think we can all agree that the best way to unpack what happened is to stream my series @lifeandbethhulu and see me on tour this fall," she joked in an Instagram post.

"But for real. Still triggered and traumatized. I love my friend @chrisrock and believe he handled it like a pro. Stayed up there and gave an Oscar to his friend @questlove and the whole thing was so disturbing," she added. "I'm still in shock and stunned and sad. Im proud of myself and my cohosts. But yeah. Waiting for this sickening feeling to go away from what we all witnessed."

However, many social media users blasted her for making it all "about [her]." One person wrote in the comment section of her post, "Shame she wants attention." Another chimed in, "Yeah sit this one out Amy."
