AceShowbiz - Issa Rae has set the record straight that she has no bun in the oven. The former star of "Insecure" debunked the pregnancy rumors after a video of her wearing a tight jumpsuit sparked speculations.
Making use of her Twitter account on Wednesday, March 30, the 37-year-old actress wrote, "I am not pregnant, f**kyouverymuch." She later insisted that it was just a food baby as saying, "LET A B***H DRINK AND BE MERRY."
The video in question reportedly was taken on March 25 at the HOORAE x Kennedy Center Takeover in Washington D.C., where she was hosting a festival touting black creatives. In the clip, "The Lovebirds" actress could be seen wearing a black fitted jumpsuit. At one moment, she greeted her "Insecure" co-star Yvonne Orji with a glass of what appeared to be champagne in her hand.
Fans were quick to speculate that Issa is expecting a baby with her husband Louis Diame as many believed that they noticed a baby bump poking out of her tight ensemble. "Omg issa rae pregnant?? She def looks pregnant!!" one person speculated. "Why does it look like you pregnant?" another asked. A third tweeted, "Aw issarae pregnant love that for her."
Issa secretly tied the knot with Louis in the South of France last year after being engaged for more than two years. On July 26 that year, Issa offered a peek at her wedding day look on Instagram. At the time, she shared a collection of photos that saw her wearing a stunning Vera Wang gown. Meanwhile, her husband looked dapper in a classic red velvet suit.
