AceShowbiz - Adele has announced that she was forced to postpone her Las Vegas residency. Taking to her social media account to share the news, the "Easy On Me" hitmaker tearfully apologized to her fans.

"I'm so sorry, but my show ain't ready," the 33-year-old singer said in the clip she posted on Thursday, January 20 via Instagram. "We've tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we've been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID."

Adele added, "Half my crew and team are [ill] with COVID and still are, and it's been impossible to finish the show." The "Someone Like You" songstress further added that she was "gutted" by the last-minute cancellation.

"We've been awake for over 30 hours now trying to figure it out, and we've run out of time," Adele told the viewers. "I'm so upset, and I'm really embarrassed and I'm so sorry to everyone that's traveled."

Adele went on to say, "We're going to reschedule all of the dates, we're on it right now and I'm gonna finish my show and get it to where it's supposed to be." The chart-topper continued, "We've been up against so much and it just ain't ready. I'm really sorry."

In the caption, Adele wrote, "All dates will be rescheduled. More info coming soon," adding a broken heart emoji. In the comment section, fellow musician Pink left a supportive message that read, "Sweetheart I have been there. The pressure is immense and I'm gutted for all of you. It will come together and it will be amazing when it does."

Many fans also showered Adele with encouraging notes. One wrote, "Minor set back for a major comeback! We still love you [heart emoji] thoughts and prayers for you and your team." Another fan added, "Adele Blue, don't cry! We'll be there when it's ready. You know what's best for you and us, your fans [heart emoji]."

Adele's Las Vegas residency, titled "Weekends with Adele", was set to kick off on Friday, January 21 at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace and run through April. The Grammy-winning singer announced her show last November with tickets ranging from $85 to $685. She's forecast to make more than $650,000 per show.
