Cops are investigating the 'Hurricane' rapper after he got into a physical altercation with an autograph seeker outside the Soho Warehouse in downtown Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West is under investigation for alleged battery. The rapper is accused of punching a fan who asked for his autograph in downtown Los Angeles on early Thursday morning, January 13.

The 44-year-old reportedly got into a physical altercation with the male fan around 3 A.M. outside the Soho Warehouse. It's unclear what unfolded before the alleged battery, but the Yeezy designer allegedly pushed and then punched the man, knocking him to the ground. The alleged victim refused medical treatment at the scene, but he's getting checked out at an urgent care.

A video obtained by TMZ shows a moment after the alleged altercation with the fan. In the clip, the alleged victim was lying on the ground as Ye raged at people who are apparently with him. He was heard screaming, "Get away from me," as a woman tried to calm him down and said, "Give me your hand."

"I am your family," the woman told the Atlanta native, before they walked away. The woman is reportedly Kanye's cousin.

The case is currently investigated as misdemeanor battery. Kanye faces up to 6 months in jail if he's found guilty.

Earlier in the evening, Kanye was seen partying at Delilah in West Hollywood with his new girlfriend Julia Fox. The estranged husband of Kim Kardashian left and drove off alone, while the "Uncut Gems" actress stayed at the club.

He later allegedly headed downtown after a late-night session in a Hollywood recording studio. Another video shows him already pissed when he left there around 2:30 A.M. He was heard yelling at two women, "Did y'all say that or not? Did y'all say that or not?" He added, "Cuz that's what happened right f**king now." The women appear to be the same who were with him when the alleged attack went down.

Following the altercation with the fan, Kanye was spotted out on Thursday morning. He was seen wearing a black hoodie as he stepped out or went inside a black Bentley. When he noticed the paparazzi, he raised his index finger to them, seemingly as a warning sign.

His team has not addressed the battery reports.
