The former Disney darling's watercolor rose tattoo, which is located below her neck, is not the only ink that she's got with 'people who've left a significant mark on [her] life.'

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez has now shared more details about her a huge new watercolor rose tattoo, which she debuted last month. During her appearance on "Live with Kelly and Ryan", the "Lose You to Love Me" singer revealed the meaning of her new ink, which matched the one of her best friend Cara Delevingne.

"It means a couple of different things," the Rare Beauty founder said. Of Cara, Selena shared, "She calls me Rosebud, so it's a nickname. And I've always wanted a rose and now I got one, and I love it."

The actress added that she got "multiple" tattoos with "people who've left a significant mark on [her] life." That included her frequent collaborator Julia Michaels and her mom, Mandy Teefey.

Selena treated fans with a glimpse of the star's back tattoo on December 15, 2021. In the black-and-white image, the former Disney darling was seen standing in an empty room facing graffitied windows. She wore a black robe or coat which was open on the back, giving a glimpse of the mysterious new ink located just below her neck.

Later on December 28, 2021, Bang Bang Tattoo uploaded a picture that gave a clear look at Selena's watercolor rose tattoo. "Watercolor on @selenagomez," the tattoo parlor wrote in a caption of the photo, before gushing over the actress, "Thank you for always being wonderful."

As for Cara, the "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" actress' new tattoo was revealed through a topless video posted on tattoo parlor Bang Bang Tattoo's official Instagram account the next day. The clip saw the 29-year-old beauty stripping down to nothing while flaunting the fresh ink of a dripping rose on her ribcage.

While Selena's ink includes the number 76 written in Roman Numerals (LXXVI), Cara's has the number 12 written in Roman Numerals (XII) above the huge rose.

"Matching for @caradelevingne," the tattoo parlor captioned the post. I had so much fun making these tattoos- thanks for always trusting me Cara fyi I didn't tell them til the end that these were my first watercolor tattoos ever."
