AceShowbiz - Hugh Jackman has recovered from COVID-19. In a new social media post, the two-time Tony Award-winning actor announced that he's returning to "The Music Man" set, noting that it "feels so good."

"We're back!!!! C'mon @musicmanbway cast and crew," the "Logan" star wrote in an Instagram post he shared on Thursday, January 6. The 53-year-old actor pointed out, "Feels so good. #broadway."

In the clip, Hugh said, "I can't tell you how good this moment feels. Yes, we're back." The "X-Men: Days of Future Past" actor further explained, "To all those people who had tickets for the last 10 days, I'm so sorry. I hope, I pray, that you'll have a chance to reschedule."

"The Greatest Showman" actor, who revealed that he caught COVID-19 last month despite being fully vaccinated and got his booster jab, added, "I'm so excited to be back and to bring this show." He stressed that returning to Broadway "is just pure joy and full of hope and belief and faith."

Last December, Hugh unveiled his COVID diagnosis and said that he was experiencing mild symptoms. "I just wanted to make sure you heard this from me. I tested positive for covid. Mild symptoms and looking forward to getting back on stage ASAP! Sending love for a happy and healthy new year," so said "The Front Runner" actor.

Hugh explained, "I have a scratchy throat and a bit of a runny nose, but I'm fine." The "Missing Link" star then assured his fans that he'll be back on stage soon, saying, "And I'm just going to do everything I can to get better, A.S.A.P., and as soon as I'm cleared, I'll be back on stage." In the caption, the star added, "Sending love for a happy and healthy new year."

Shortly after Hugh posted his video, "The Music Man" announced that performances were canceled through January 1. "All tickets can be refunded or exchanged at point of purchase. Performances will resume on Sunday, January 2. Sending you warm wishes for the New Year from the entire company of The Music Man," the show said in a prior statement.

Hugh divulged that he contracted the virus just days after his co-star in "The Music Man", Sutton Foster, missed her performance following her coronavirus diagnosis. The "Younger" actress penned on December 24, "Yesterday I tested positive for COVID. At noon Kathy Voytko found out. And last night she went on for Marian Paroo and smashed it." She added in her post, "Grateful to Kathy and our incredible company. Grateful to all swings and understudies who keep all the shows going, now and always."
