The former 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star confirmed her split from Cuffe Biden Owens on December 27, 2021, just two months after they tied the knot.

AceShowbiz - Meghan King is not letting anyone tell her what to do with her life. On Monday, January 3, the former "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star clapped back at one of her followers who advised her to get off social media after she split from husband Cuffe Biden Owens.

It started after Meghan took to her Instagram account to share a video of her doing an early morning yoga session. "Warrior your way through your first day back to real life in 2022," so she wrote in the caption. "It's gonna be ok. We will do this even if we look or feel silly at times and even if the world is watching. We are I. This together. I love you."

While most of her followers filled the comments section with happy new year messages, there were some people who left unkind comments underneath the post. "So many people made so many mean comments towards you," one follower noted. "In 2022, work on being KIND folks. We are all doing our best to figure this thing called life out. Wishing you and your family all the best Meghan."

One user then replied, "Except she is trying to figure out for likes…she needs to heal and get off social media." Catching wind of the discussion, Meghan decided to chime in as she responded, "How about I decide what's good for me and you follow along or don't?"

On December 27, 2021, Meghan confirmed that she called it quits with Cuffe after just two months of marriage. "I've been asked by many outlets and individuals to comment on the state of my marriage," Meghan wrote in an Instagram Story post. "I am rattled. This situation is profoundly devastating. This is obviously not what I imagined when I made my vows-and I'm shocked and saddened by the way things turned out."

"At this time I ask for your grace and gentle kindness," the life blogger continued, "as I navigate this labyrinth of grief with my family."

While Meghan didn't detail the reason of their split, she made it clear that it wasn't because of distance. "Cuffe lived with me. We didn't have any distance," Meghan said in a statement to E! News. "We lived together every day since the day we met. There was no Cali/MO distance. There was zero long distance whatsoever."
