When opening up about his weight gain on 'Red Table Talk', the actor/rapper son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith reveals that he is currently building up his muscle mass.

AceShowbiz - Jaden Smith is happy with his current weight. Revealing that he has gained 10 pounds after his family staged intervention two years ago, "The Karate Kid" star said he feels so much better now.

When sitting down with Jada Pinkett Smith and Adrienne "Gammy" Banfield-Norris on "Red Table Talk", the 23-year-old admitted that he had managed to change his diet since the intervention. "I was able to work with the doctors and really get my vitamins and get my supplements and protein shakes," he said.

"That's half of my diet. It's like a password that I have to find to my body. I'm like, 10 Lbs. heavier now at this point," Jaden explained in the Wednesday, December 22 episode of the Facebook show. He then noted that aside from maintaining his weight, he is building up his muscle mass.

"That was a long way from where I was when I was at Coachella, where I just was like, bones. I thought I was so tight. I was like, 'This. I'm swagging on this. Like, I need to take off my shirt right now,' " the actor/musician went on reflecting. His mom Jada then chimed in, "Well, you were just trying to figure it out."

Earlier in the chat, the youngest son of Will Smith divulged that his "biggest gut problem would be like, just not being hungry when I need to be. Or being stressed." He further elaborated, "I have pain too. I eat so much sugar that I have a candida buildup that happens in my stomach."

When Jada asked whether it's from the pancakes, Jaden said it was actually from the syrup. His grandma then disclosed that Jaden "has been eating pancakes for breakfast every day since he was a child. He doesn't miss a day."

Back in September 2019, Jada said on her show that she and her husband Will were concerned about Jaden's health. "Will and I had a bit of an intervention with Jaden because he's a vegan now, but we realized he wasn't getting enough protein," she shared.

"So he was wasting away. He just looked drained, he was just depleted, he wasn't getting the nutrients," the "The Matrix Resurrections" actress added. Her spouse then joined in, saying, "He had the dark circles under his eyes. There was even a little grayness to his skin. We got really nervous, but you are definitely looking better now."
