Wiz Khalifa Pleads With Fellow Rappers to Stop Beefing After Drakeo the Ruler's Death

The 'Black and Yellow' rapper asks fellow hip-hop artists to mind their own business and stop disrespecting each other following the tragic death at Los Angeles music festival.

AceShowbiz - The hip-hop community was shrouded in gloom after rapper Drakeo the Ruler died following a fatal stabbing at a Los Angeles music festival. Wiz Khalifa called for peace amid the heavy mood as the violent altercation that claimed Drakeo's life was rumored to be gang related.

"As enternainers lets try some s**t next year," Wiz wrote on Twitter. Without mentioning the fatal incident, he asked fellow rappers to stop beefing, "Minding our own business. Not dis respecting each others family, dead homies, or area they come from."

"Stop using someone else's significant other as a one up to the other person. Actually showing the same love you expect to get," the lyricist added. "Not sayın any of these are a direct cause of violence but changin em could help."

Meanwhile, Jim Jones declared, "Rappers have th most dangerous job in th world," following the backstage brawl at the star-studded Once Upon a Time event.

"Rip to this brother drakeo this is sad," Jones wrote before calling on fellow artists to protect themselves, "To all rappers I urge u to protect urself start to move tactical. Preservation of life is everything they do not value our lives anymore we are targeted."

He continued, "They know who we are cause of our fame but we don't know who they are because of our fame. I pray everyday I make it home to my family because it's tht serious out here for us. Feels like we lost a rapper every week this year."

"There was a time when we protected in th community we were treated as super hero's not no more," he lamented before concluding, "Stay safe & stay dangerous I pray I never have to make a decision. Say ur prayers n move sturdy."

Snoop Dogg also offered condolences. Calling for peace as well, he added, "I'm not with anything negative and as one of many performers, I was there to spread positive vibes only to my city of L.A."

Drake was also appalled by the incident, "Nah man, this s**t isn't right. For real, wtf are we doing." He ended with prayers for the fallen rapper, "RIP Drakeo."

Tory Lanez was equally shocked, "Damn not my n*gga @drakeotheruler … RIP man WTF … Cuz [used] to always pull up on me just to shoot the shits and vibe … Solid individual … [Used] to make me happy when I seen [you] on everything!!!"

Saweetie tweeted, "Man Drakeo was always hella cool & respectful [sad face] Prayers up for his family RIP The Ruler."
