AceShowbiz - Dua Lipa has been ordered by her doctor to call off her scheduled show at iHeartRadio KISS FM Jingle Ball. The "New Rules" hitmaker was bummed as she had to pull out out of the festive music event after already flying across the country for the weekend gig.
She cited vocal issues as the reason of her cancellation, "I'm heartbroken to have to share that I won't be able to perform at the iHeartRadio KISS FM Jingle Ball due to laryngitis. As per my doctor's orders today, I will need to be on vocal rest for the next few days in order to fully heal."
"I am so sorry to all my fans and I'm truly thankful for your understanding. Jingle Ball has a stellar lineup with amazing performances for you all that I'm sure you will enjoy," the brunette stunner continued. "Sending my love and hoping to be back on stage very soon!"
The singer followed it up by posting a somber selfie from her bed. "Nothing like flying for 11hrs to get to LA for work and have to spend my days in bed on vocal rest," she lamented.
The annual holiday music festivity will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, December 10. The lineup include Ed Sheeran, Jonas Brothers, Doja Cat, Lil Nas X, Saweetie, AJR, Kane Brown, Tate McRae, Bazzi, and Dixie D'Amelio.
Before rocking the MSG in the Big Apple, the likes of Ed Sheeran, Lil Nas X, Doja Cat, Saweetie, Tate McRae, Bazzi, and Dixie D'Amelio took the stage at The Forum in Inglewood, California on Friday, December 3 for 102.7 KIIS FM's Jingle Ball 2021 Presented by Capital One.
