'The Voice' Recap: Top 10 Take to the Stage for Challenge Week

The new outing of the long-running NBC show features the 10 remaining singers performing for Challenge Week in front of coaches Ariana Grande, John Legend, Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson.

AceShowbiz - The Top 10 of "The Voice" season 21 returned to the stage in the Monday, November 29 episode. The new outing featured the singers performing for Challenge Week in front of coaches Ariana Grande, John Legend, Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson.

Kicking off the night was Team Ariana's Holly Forbes, who opted to sing "Last Dance" by Donna Summer. Holly opened the song with a ballad sound before going full on disco jam as Holly ripped off her skirt. John said that she looked like she was in her element, while Ariana said Holly "killed it."

Team Blake's Wendy Moten followed it up with a performance of Dolly Parton's classic, "Jolene". Blake and John gave her a standing ovation at the end of her performance. Kelly, meanwhile, called the performance "beautifully sad."

Later, Team Kelly's pop singer, Jeremy Rosado, took the stage to sing a country/rock uptempo song by Jimmie Allen and Brad Paisley, "Freedom Was a Highway". Ariana praised Jeremy, saying that he's "phenomenal as always." Kelly noted that she enjoyed seeing Jeremy so free on the stage, adding that his voice was "magical."

Team John's soul singer, Jershika Maple, challenged herself by singing the pop/rock genre with "Ain't it Fun" by Paramore. Kelly loved Jershika's energy and power, while John says she's great as always. Lana Scott, Team Blake's country singer, took the stage to sing "The One That Got Away" by Katy Perry, though she put a country spin on the song. She earned a standing ovation from John and Blake for the performance.

Joshua Vacanti from Team John later changed things up by showing off his soulful side with "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys. It was magnificent that Blake admitted to being mind blown by the performance. John praised Joshua for always taking creative risks each week.

Team Ariana's Jim & Sasha Allen will be challenging themselves with "Stay" by Rihanna & Mikky Ekko. Ariana thought it was their best performance to date and one of the best performances of the entire season. As for Team Blake's Jacksonville soul singer, Paris Winningham, he decided to perform "Amazed" by Lonestar. Calling him a "stud," Blake believed that Paris would be in the semifinals.

Team Kelly's Hailey Mia challenged herself with "Peter Pan" by Kelsea Ballerini and Kelly claimed it was flawless. Concluding the night was Team Kelly's Girl Named Tom who hit the stage to perorm Coldplay's "Viva La Vida".

The result of tonight's performance will be revealed in Tuesday, November 30 episode of "The Voice".
