AceShowbiz - Blake Moynes has finally broken his silence on Katie Thurston's new romance with John Hersey. Upon learning that his ex-fiancee has moved on with her former "The Bachelorette" suitor, the wildlife manager said he felt "stupid" for letting her emotionally cheat on him.

"You start to think about timelines. I know they spent a lot of time together and stuff, but there's just no way, I didn't have an inkling," the 30-year-old stated in the Wednesday, November 24 episode of the "Talking It Out with Bachelor Nation" podcast. "I'm a very secure guy, a confident guy, and I give my trust out 100 percent, especially to the person I should be trusting the most."

Blake, who has unfollowed Katie following their breakup, went on to note, "I really don't think there was any physical cheating there, but there's clearly emotional for it to transition as quickly as it did." He added, "I feel stupid and foolish for allowing it to happen, to some degree."

"And I don't know if it was partially me too," Blake further shared. "Like, was she in some sense emotionally cheating because I wasn't able to provide something with words of affirmation, which I know I struggle with sometimes?"

Katie confirmed her romance with John on the final day of an Instagram series she titled the "12 Days of Messy." On the last day, she unleashed some videos that highlight moments of her and John, whom she sent home during week two on "The Bachelorette". She used Taylor Swift's "Begin Again" as the background music of the clips.

Katie was previously engaged to Blake after he proposed to her in the season 17 finale of "The Bachelorette". However, they announced their split on October 25. Sharing a joint statement on Instagram, they wrote, "It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways."
