AceShowbiz - "The Real Housewives of Potomac" welcomed a special guest host in Part 3 of its reunion. Much to the ladies' surprise, Nicki Minaj appeared to take over Andy Cohen's hosting duties temporarily.
Before Nicki made her way to the stage, Andy said, "It has been a long season. It's been a long night. We still have some stuff to do. This is a little unheard of, but I need some tequila. Can someone bring me some tequila?" That was when the "Anaconda" hitmaker appeared with a bottle.
"Nicki, I am handing you my chair, I'm gonna take my tequila and go," Andy told Nicki. The raptress responded, "I love you Andy, thank you. I cannot believe Andy's letting me do this. Tonight I am Andiana Minaj."
The viewers were also offered with a scene of Andy going to Nicki in her dressing room prior to her surprise appearance. "We've been shooting for hours, we're all a little ragged," he said. "You are going to do your own thing. Anyone that you feel like when you walk out there, should be like 'uh oh'?"
To that, Nicki, who is an avid fan of the Bravo show, replied, "Possibly [Ashley Darby]. Child, when she walked her butt up out of that house ... to ream somebody about their husband and family, I wasn't feeling that," referencing the drama from the group's trip to Williamsburg.
Nicki also revealed that she might be talking about Candiace Dillard's music career. "People said to me that if I spoke to Candiace about her music that she might be sad or take it the wrong way, but I don't think she should take it the wrong way," the raptress told Andy.
"Well, I'm excited because you actually can take sides and you're actually going to say your opinions," Andy shared. Nicki excitedly said, "Everybody hear that? So don't be telling me that I did my job wrong -- Andy gave me permission that I can take sides."
For her hosting gig, Nicki didn't plan to hold back with her opinion. However, before she started grilling the ladies, she gave them a little warning. "Now, before we start, y'all, I want to tell you, I wouldn't be here if I didn't love and respect you, okay? I love the show," the "Bang Bang" rapper said. "So, even though I have a job to do, asking you questions, you should just have fun with it. Because these are questions courtesy of me and the Barbz."
She started with Ashley, who confronted Wendy Osefo alongside Gizelle Bryant over rumors that her husband Eddie was cheating on her. "My first question is, Ashley: First of all I want to say I love seeing you with your boys. But to me, because you had just had a baby and you wanted to be home, rightfully so, with your babies, it seemed like you didn't have much of a storyline. So is that why you were willing to be Gizelle's sidekick and be shady to Wendy?" Nicki asked.
"You ain't lug your breast milk down there to start some drama, to be petty, so you can get more camera time?" Nicki continued, while Ashley denied. Candiace appeared to defend Ashley as she said, "Can I just say, she gave birth literally like two weeks into filming."
When Nicki suggested that Ashley "should've stayed home," Candiace continued, "But she got work, we got work."
