Boosie Badazz Earns Praise After Postponing Albums Release Out of Respects for Young Dolph

The 39-year-old Baton Rouge native, who has already released ten studio albums, was initially set to release 'Back to BR' and 'Mississippi' on Friday, November 19.

AceShowbiz - Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie) has gained praise for how he paid respects to Young Dolph. Announcing that he postponed the release of his albums in the wake of the "You Got It" rapper's death, the Baton Rouge native got showered with complimentary comments by fans.

Boosie shared the announcement on Twitter on Thursday, November 18. "IM GO SET MY ALBUMS DATES BACK TO THE 25th of NOVEMBER WITH RESPECT FOR THE #dolph situations 'BACK TO BR' & 'MISSISSIPPI' BOTH ALBUMS DROPPING ON THE 11/25," he declared.

Many have since applauded the 39-year-old emcee. One person in particular gushed, "DATS REAL NI66A ISH....MUCH RESPECT TO BIG BOOSIE." Another raved, "love Boosie ain't no many REAL rappers left." Someone else chimed in, "Boosie a good hearted out spoken person lol that go crazy sometimes but I respect shawty for that."

Boosie, who has already released ten studio albums, was initially set to drop "Back to BR" and "Mississippi" on Friday, November 19. While he has yet to reveal tracklists for the two albums, he previously divulged that there will be a total of more than 30 songs between the two projects.

The postponement came just one day after Dolph was gunned down in Memphis, Tennessee while he was shopping inside a cookie store. His lawyer and friend Scott Hall told TMZ that he was in town for his annual Thanksgiving giveaway. On Thursday, pictures of his alleged shooters made their way online. Though so, police have yet to reveal the identities of the two men.

Following the "RNB" spitter's passing, fellow hip-hop stars like Megan Thee Stallion, Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Quavo as well as Offset took to their respective social media accounts to share their condolences. R&B singer Monica also mourned the death of the late rapper, saying that her "heart is shattered."
