In her book titled 'The Pursuit of Porsha', the former star of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' claims she left the convicted abuser's home after hearing a woman got beaten.

AceShowbiz - Porsha Williams has opened up more about "abusive" sexual encounters with R. Kelly. In her upcoming bombshell memoir, the former "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star detailed the nightmare experience.

In her book titled "The Pursuit of Porsha: How I Grew Into My Power and Purpose", per PEOPLE, the 40-year-old claimed that she first met Kelly back in 2007 after meeting a friend of his. While considering to pursue a career in music, she then flew out to Chicago to meet with the singer about possibly working together.

After flying out to Chicago, Williams said she'd been taken to Kelly's home, instead of being brought to the disgraced star's recording studio. The reality star admitted that she was taken to his bedroom and left there for hours by herself.

Williams said that when Kelly finally came back, he told her to take off her clothes. "I've already put myself in this position," Williams wrote in the memoir. "This is what you're supposed to do. You have to. There is no turning back."

Williams shared that after the first encounter, she met him two more times. After waking up to the sound of a woman being beaten in another room, the former Bravo star finally decided to leave the convicted R&B star's home for good.

However, Williams admitted that she kept her experience a secret for years, even from her own mother. "I think for any woman or man who's been in an abusive situation, you don't want to tell your parents because you don't want them to think that they had let you down in any way," she said in her book. "I don't want her to think that she had done anything wrong. And so I took it upon myself."

"But I was glad when I did [tell her]," Williams confessed, adding that her mom "was glad" that she shared the traumatic experience with her. The TV personality continued, "She told me some of her experiences and we just talked about how this should be told so other women don't have to go through it."

Elsewhere in her book, which will be released on November 30, Williams explained that she had been abused in previous relationships before Kelly. This made her decide to report it to the authorities. "I realized it was my opportunity to help anyone who's been hurt by him," she shared. "There had been so many other instances where I had been abused by men that my mentality [at that time] was of an abused person, and that it was okay for me to be treated like that."
