AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian marked Veterans Day (11Nov21) on social media by sharing a couple of throwback photos from her 2014 USO visit.
The reality TV star and budding lawyer paid tribute to all of the U.S service members with a pair of snaps taken during a trip aboard the aircraft carrier USS San Diego, which was stationed in Abu Dhabi in November 2014.
Her visit was part of a morale-boosting tradition, with the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star following in the footsteps of entertainers such as Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor.
In the first post, Kim is seen standing alongside three service members - at least two of whom are from the U.S. Navy - and in the caption she simply penned, "Happy Veterans Day."
In a follow-up taken the same day, Kim posted another image of herself standing with one of the ladies from the United States Marines Corps.
"Thank you for your service," added the businesswoman.
As part of her USO visit, Kim had a meet and greet with troops and a VIP tour of the ship. She also enjoyed an inspection of the tanks below deck.
The Kardashian/Jenner family is currently under scrutiny over their link to Travis Scott following Astroworld festival tragedy.
Travis is the father of Kylie Jenner's daughter and her unborn child. The pregnant star was also present along with sister Kendall Jenner at the music event last week when it ended with deadly chaos that killed nine people and injured hundreds of others.
Kylie offered condolences to the victims.
Meanwhile, business runs as usual in the Kardashian/Jenner household as Kim launched her new shapewear collection just after the tragedy.
