The model makes it known that she always has love and support for her actor dad, who accidentally discharged a prop gun and killed a cinematographer while filming 'Rust'.

AceShowbiz - Ireland Baldwin continues to show support for her father Alec Baldwin in the wake of shooting accident on the set of "Rust". On Wednesday, October 27, the model took to her Instagram account to share a screenshot of someone reminiscing a sweet story of the actor.

"So about a million years ago I was working in the production office in Toronto of the company that was making the Thomas the Tank Engine movie that he did. I'd dealt with typing up some pretty goofy celebrity riders in my day but NOT your dads," so the commenter wrote. "He only wanted to make sure he had milk and cereal in his hotel room for when his daughter was visiting. That was it. That was the whole rider. I'll always remember that."

In the caption, Ireland wrote, "Amongst some of the most abhorrent and threatening comments, emails, text messages, and voicemails I've been getting... this beautiful comment stands alone." Concluding her post, Ireland noted, "I know my dad, you simply don't. I love you, Dad."

It has been a rough week for those who were involved in "Rust". On Thursday, October 21, Alec accidentally discharged a gun that was used as a prop on the set of the movie. The accident killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.

Of the shooting, Santa Fe Sheriff's Department said in a statement on Thursday, "This investigation remains open and active. No charges have been filed in regard to this incident. Witnesses continue to be interviewed by detectives." It is currently unclear how the incident occured.

As for Alec, the former "Saturday Night Live" addressed the tragedy on Twitter. "There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours," he wrote at the time. The "30 Rock" alum also vowed that he'll be "fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna."

Alec's wife Hilaria Baldwin also expressed her condolence to Halyna's family. "My heart is with Halyna. Her husband. Her son. Their family and loved ones. And my Alec. It's said, 'there are no words' because it's impossible to express the shock and heartache of such a tragic accident. Heartbreak. Loss. Support," so she stated.
