AceShowbiz - Shanna Moakler has shared another cryptic post after she got trolled online following her ex-husband Travis Barker's engagement to Kourtney Kardashian. The former Miss USA said everyone's "insane" after shutting down claim that her kids will be Kardashian "royalty."
On Friday, October 22, the 46-year-old model took to her Instagram account to share a glamorous photo taken in a pool. In her caption, she wrote, "One thing I feel like we're not acknowledging as a society is that everyone now is just completely insane."
A day earlier, Shanna shared another cryptic Instagram caption, seemingly throwing a shade at Travis and Kourtney's engagement news. Referencing the 1939 film "Gone With the Wind", she penned, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn," adding an anchor emoji.
In the comment section, an Instagram user teased her as saying, "How does it feel [that] your children will be in Hollywood Royalty now. Kardashians run LA." In response, she replied, "I'm their mother, they were royalty long before…" In a separate comment, she added, "I love that people are now telling me how I feel! lol I can't with this world."
One of her followers defended her with a supportive message in response to the troll's remark. Shanna was caught liking a comment that read, "You act like @shannamoakler @travisbarker didn't have a Reality show about their family long before the Kardashians? If you are so into 'Pop news' it's pretty disgraceful that you don't know these facts! #meetthebarkers."
Previously, Shanna insisted that she hasn't commented about the Blink-182's drummer's engagement to the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum. "PSA I haven't made a comment on anything going on in the world period," she wrote on October 20.
"So [thank you] to all my new found psychologist, family therapists, spiritual counselors, monsters and desperate housewives…your unsolicited opinions from trash sites have been noted," Shanna continued. "Whatever would I do without your fortune cookie wisdom," she concluded and ended her message with a peace-sign emoji.
Shanna's statement came after she wiped off all recent pictures with her kids, Landon and Alabama, from her Instagram page after they joined the Kardashian-Jenner family for a celebratory dinner following the engagement.
Shortly after Travis proposed to Kourtney at the Rosewood Miramar in Montecito, California, Shanna herself shared cryptic posts on her Instagram Story. In one post, she told her followers that she's taking a break from social media.
"Temporarily closed for spiritual maintenance," Shanna wrote. In a separate Story, she posted a quote from the late rap legend Tupac Shakur that read, "Before you ask why someone hates you, ask yourself why you give a f**k."
