After many fans refuse to watch 'The Wendy Williams Show' until the TV hostess returns, it's reported that the producers offer $75 cash to vaccinated people to fill in empty seats.

AceShowbiz - Producers on "The Wendy Williams Show" reportedly pay people to fill in empty seats in the studio amid Wendy Williams' absence. It's said that the show's producers are currently offering money to vaccinated people.

The show offered $75 cash to "non-union, vaccinated people to sit in the studio" when Whitney Cummings fills in next week, according to Onset Productions website per Friday, October 21. "The Wendy Williams Show is the provocative, must-see talk show in daytime," the message read, before adding, "$75 CASH incentive, given same day (3 hrs)."

Even on Sunday, October 17, the daytime show's Instagram page encouraged fans to buy tickets online, making it more obvious that the studio might still have plenty of empty seats as Wendy is still recovering from "serious" health complications.

As the daytime show has returned for season 13 without Wendy, many fans expressed their disapproval, noting that it's "not the same" without the 57-year-old TV hostess. "Just call me when Sis is back in the purple chair," one Instagram user wrote, while another commented, "Not the same without Wendy."

"No WENDY, no show, praying for her," a third chimed in, while a fourth expressed, "Ya need to bring WENDY BACK! This aint it," adding the trash can emoji. A separate critic also said, "This won't work. Wendy needs to come to work or retire because this happens a lot. Hope Wendy is recovering and I wish her the best."

On October 19, the talk show announced that Wendy's absence from her famous purple chair had been extended into the first week of November. During her hiatus, Whitney will be taking over hosting duties from Monday, October 25 until Friday, October 29 while former "The View" panelist Sherri Shepherd will guest-host the following week from Monday, November 1 to Friday, November 5.

In the comment section, many fans refused to watch the show without Wendy. "We want WENDY WILLIAMS PERIODT," one wrote, while another added, "This is definitely Wendy's last season."

"Can you at least have her post a small video letting us know she is ok? We miss our Wendy," a third asked. In the meantime, a fourth left a negative review that read, "The show was so boring. Wendy get well soon."

After the show faced backlash from Wendy's fans, Whitney posted an encouraging note in the comment section. "Nobody can ever replace Wendy but we will do what we can to fill in so she can come back stronger than ever," she began.

"Shes gone so hard for so long and as much as I miss seeing her every day, just imagine how hilarious she's gonna be after some time to take care of herself and have some quiet time to think! [love emoji]" Whitney added. The 39-year-old actress concluded her message as saying, "Feel free to send me topics you guys want covered! We all wanna make Wendy proud."

Season 13 of the show was originally scheduled to premiere on September 20, but the date had to be pushed back after Wendy tested positive for COVID-19. Following her diagnosis of the deadly virus, she was hospitalized for "psychiatric services."

"The Wendy Williams Show will start airing originals on Monday, October 18, with an exciting lineup of guest hosts and panels to be announced shortly," the statement shared via Instagram on October 12 read. "Wendy continues to be under medical supervision and meets with her medical team on a daily basis."
