AceShowbiz - Shanna Moakler has gotten candid about where things stand between her, her ex-husband Travis Barker and their kids. While admitting that she doesn't speak to the Blink-182 drummer anymore now that he's married to Kourtney Kardashian, the former Miss New York USA winner said she remains on good terms with their kids.
"We don't speak anymore," the 49-year-old told PEOPLE in a new profile published Monday, June 24. "I don't have a relationship with Travis, but I think that's OK."
"I don't feel like it'll be like that forever, but I feel like right now," she added. "I think that's where we are at in our evolution, and maybe in the future, it'll change."
Despite the possibility of eventually being on speaking terms with Travis, Shanna claimed she "just" doesn't "care about her exes at the moment," including Oscar De La Hoya. She added, "I know I'm talking about it here with you - and I really can't do anything without talking about it - because it's just kind of stuck with me, which is fine."
"But I really care more about just healing from the loss of my family and my support system, and just really trying to find out what my next move in life is," the former beauty pageant, who shares daughter Atiana De La Hoya with Oscar, continued. "I'm an empty nester and turning 50, and I'm just trying to find my place in the world again without my parents or a partner."
Shanna went on to emphasize that she is not "a deadbeat mom." She said of Landon Barker and Alabama Barker, who previously "liked" a post on Instagram slamming bad moms, "I have a very close relationship with my children who are now adults, and I have been present in their lives, except during Covid lockdown... They have both taken back what they said about me and apologized."
