The 'Power' star/co-creator also wages a war between his Starz series and Smollett's former show as after a judge denied the 'Marshall' actor's request to dismiss the case.

AceShowbiz - 50 Cent isn't letting Jussie Smollett get away without some trolling as the latter is heading to trial for allegedly staging a hate crime hoax. The rapper-turned-actor has trolled the former "Empire" star after a judge denied his request to dismiss the case.
Fiddy took to his Instagram page on Sunday, October 17 to share his take on the case development. Shading the 39-year-old actor/singer, the "In da Club" spitter posted along with a screenshot of a tabloid headline about the case featuring a picture Jussie smiling, "yeah he smiling but he crying in side."
"SMH he was trying to shine, it's hard to shine when i'm out here," 50 Cent added. He went on waging a war between his show "Power" and Jussie's former drama series "Empire" as writing, "Empire who? Empire How? Empire where ? LOL ITS THE POWER UNIVERSE Green Light Gang."
This isn't the first time 50 Cent weighed in on the alleged Chicago attack that took place in January 2019. Back in February 2019, after the Chicago PD alleged that Jussie orchestrated the attack, the 46-year-old questioned if "Empire" co-creator Lee Daniels was in on the alleged scheme as the latter posted an emotional video defending the star a few days earlier.
Later in January 2020, Fofty seemingly blamed Jussie's situation for ending "Empire" as he apologized to Taraji P. Henson for mocking her and her show. "@tarajiphenson i didn't destroy your show it destroyed itself," he wrote alongside a picture of the actress and Jussie. He continued, "i hope you accept my sincere apology, forever your fan and friend Fofty. ps i'm looking forward to working with you, or watching you watch me work."
50 Cent's latest take on the case came after a judge shot down Jussie's final attempt to have the criminal case against him tossed. An attorney for Jussie previously tried convincing the court that his client's rights were being violated because he had already forfeited his $10,000 bond and done community service as part of the deal he struck with Cook County prosecutors to have the charges dismissed.
However, the judge noted that a new set of circumstances arose when a special prosecutor reopened the case and charged Jussie anew. The actor is expected to stand trial on six counts of felony disorderly conduct in November with jury selection beginning after Thanksgiving.
