AceShowbiz - Little Mix will announce they are splitting up next month (Nov21), according to multiple reports.
The girl group became a trio at the end of 2020 after Jesy Nelson quit to take care of her mental health and embark on a solo career, and now it seems her three former bandmates are following suit.
Ironically, Jesy has just launched her solo career with the release of her new single, "Boyz", which features Nicki Minaj.
According to The Sun sources, the band's big announcement will take place in mid-November, and comes as new mums Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall map out solo careers. Pinnock is hoping to swell her acting resume after recently announcing her film debut in festive film "Boxing Day".
An insider tells the publication, "There has been a lot of speculation about the future of Little Mix but it is now very clear that the end of the road has been reached. A date is set to announce the split. The upcoming tour is going to be a farewell to their fans."
"They've been pretty open with each other about it. There are a lot of meetings happening at the moment. Some of them have already done management deals. Leigh-Anne has signed up with Dua Lipa's manager, Jade is cutting her teeth as a songwriter and presenter while Perrie is working on other things too. They still get on great..."
"They all know there will have to be a career beyond Little Mix, so they've put things in place. The plan is to see out commitments, then turn to solo projects almost immediately."
Representatives for Little Mix have yet to comment.
