The Queens of the Stone Age frontman and his estranged wife will be accompanied by supervisors during interactions with their children amid bitter custody battle.

AceShowbiz - Punk rocker Brody Dalle has been told she must give her estranged husband, Josh Homme, access to their sons, despite her claims they are terrified of him.

The former couple is involved in a messy custody battle and The Distillers star previously requested a temporary restraining order for the boys, Wolf, five, and 10-year-old Orrin.

She accused the Queens of the Stone Age frontman of abusing his sons "physically and emotionally with flicks to the ear, put-downs, threats against their mother... and groping of the boys' privates."

Homme's attorney called the allegations "categorically false" and a judge overseeing the case tossed the request for a protective order.

And now Josh has won another battle - on Friday (15Oct21), Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Lawrence Riff ruled Dalle had to let Homme spend time with his sons, explaining he would be appointing monitors to oversee the children and their parents' interactions over the coming month.

The last time Homme actually saw his sons, according to court records, was at the end of August (21). He was granted 15-minute FaceTime calls with the boys every other day from the end of September.

The estranged couple's daughter Camille will also be subject to monitoring, despite being granted her request for a temporary restraining order against her dad last month.

"It's clear to me you need monitors," Judge Riff told Dalle and Homme at a court hearing.

Last week, Dalle told Rolling Stone she just wanted to make sure her kids were safe, adding, "We have to protect kids. We should always protect kids."

In his own statement, Homme added, "The hardest job in the world is to be a mom, but dads are important too. I'd wade through anything for my kids, even this."
