The 'Hold It Against Me' songstress reportedly feels that her younger sister 'totally abandoned her and let her down' amid the pop star's years-long conservatorship.

AceShowbiz - There's still a rift between Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears. It's reported that the "Toxic" hitmaker is "very angry" at her sister for abandoning her amid her conservatorship battle.
Revealing the news was E! News. "Britney is very, very angry and hurt," the source told the outlet. "She feels like Jamie Lynn totally abandoned her and let her down in the fight of her life. They were best friends and everything to each other for so long."
"She asked for support, and feels like Jamie Lynn turned her back on her and couldn't be bothered," the unnamed informant continued sharing.
The news arrived after Jamie Lynn announced that she will release a memoir called "Things I Should Have Said" later this year. "I felt a strong conviction to share my story, but there was a lot of personal work and healing that had to happen before I could share my truth the proper way," she wrote on Instagram beneath a shot of the book cover artwork.
"I've spent my whole life believing that I had to pretend to be perfect, even when I wasn't, so for the first time I am opening up about my own mental health, because this process challenged me to have to be painfully honest with myself, and face a lot of hard things, that I normally would have just glossed right over, like I was taught to," she added.
"I owe it to myself, my younger self, and to my daughters to be an example that you should never edit yourself or your truth to please anyone else," the "Sweet Magnolias" actress further explained.
On the next day, Britney appeared to throw shade at her younger sister. Sharing a photo of herself on Instagram, she wrote, "Psssssss also great news … I'm thinking of releasing a book next year but I'm having issues coming up with a title so maybe my fans could help !!!! Option #1 … 'S**t, I really don't know' Option #2 … 'I really care what people think' !!!! What do you guys think ????"
Britney has previously revealed how her family members treated her. Jamie Lynn, however, insisted that she has supported the pop star during her conservatorship. "I felt like until my sister could speak for herself and say what she felt she needed to say publicly, it wasn't my place and it wasn't the right thing to do," she said in a clip shared on Instagram Story.
"This situation does not affect me either way because I am only her sister who is only concerned about her happiness... Maybe I didn't support her the way the public would like me to with a hashtag on a public platform," she further stressed. "But I can assure I have supported my sister long before there was a hashtag, and I'll support her long after. Note that."
