The actor, who is also known as Mozzy in 'Power', has been indicted by a grand jury for allegedly killing Tyrone Jones in February after reportedly firing 11 gunshots into the latter's car.

AceShowbiz - "Boardwalk Empire" and "Blue Bloods" actor Isaiah Stokes is facing the prospect of spending 25 years-to-life behind bars after he was indicted on charges of murder and weapon possession.

Stokes was arraigned in a Queens, New York court on Friday, July 16 on a count of murder in the second degree, and two of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.

The 41-year-old's legal troubles date back to February 7, when he was accused of approaching the car of Tyrone Jones, 37, at an intersection in Queens and firing at the victim through the driver's side window. Jones was subsequently pronounced dead by paramedics.

Video surveillance footage indicated that the incident took place at around 2:45 P.M. on February 7. The actor was seen exiting a vehicle before approaching a white Jeep Grand Cherokee and allegedly fired 11 gunshots into the car. His victim was said to live about a mile and a half from the shooting site.

It's unclear what led up to the confrontation, but in a press release, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz wrote, "The defendant is accused of unloading nearly eleven shots during this brazen afternoon shooting. Gun violence is all too prevalent in our neighborhoods. We will not allow it to become the norm."

Stokes is next due in court on Monday, July 19.

His other acting credits include episodes of "Power", "The Americans", and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit", while he has also recorded music under the stage name I$AIAH.
