The 45-year-old singer, however, is still showered with congratulatory comments from her bandmates Mel B, Mel C and Victoria Beckham despite not telling them about her big day.

AceShowbiz - Emma Bunton had a particular reason why she didn't invite her Spice Girls bandmates to her nuptials. The "Wannabe" hitmaker, who has just tied the knot with her longtime partner Jade Jones, reportedly wanted to keep the wedding a "secret."

Revealing the news was MailOnline. "No friends or family were invited, and it was a secret from everyone," a source told the outlet. "It was just their mums, their two children and two close friends as legal witnesses, with Beau as best man."

Despite not informing her bandmates about her big day, Emma received congratulatory comments from them after she shared her wedding picture on Instagram on Tuesday, July 13. One in particular was Victoria Beckham (Victoria Adams) who raved, "Congratulations. Love u both so much!! x."

Geri Halliwell gushed, "So happy for you and your lovely family." Mel B (Melanie Brown), meanwhile, replied, "Yipppeee [heart-eyed emojis]." Mel C (Melanie C) then chimed in, "Yeahhhhhh! Congratulations, love you all sooooooo much."

Emma's now-husband also treated his fans to a photo from their nuptials. Alongside the snap in which they were staring at each other, the British R&B crooner penned, "Me & Mrs Jones!"

Emma has been dating Jade since 1988. The couple then got engaged in 2006. Together, they share two children, 13-year-old Beau and 10-year-old Tate.

Emma has previously divulged that she and her then-fiance had always wanted to get married privately. When speaking to Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2 in 2018, she explained that they would love to tie the knot but they were not so good at organizing the wedding.

"We're not [married yet], we would love to actually and we have talked about it," the mother of two spilled at that time. "We try to, but we want it to be private, every time we try it's out there. We want to do it privately on our own."
