AceShowbiz - Courteney Cox has sent "Friends" fans into a frenzy. The actress, who played Monica Geller on the NBC hit series, surprised her followers with a mini reunion with co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow as they celebrated Independence Day together.

Taking to her Instagram account on Sunday, July 4, the 57-year-old actress posted a sweet selfie with Jennifer and Lisa. "Happy 4th! Xoxo," she wrote in the caption. In their smiling photo, she donned a tan blouse and hoop earrings, while the "We're the Millers" star and "The Comeback" alum were matching in black tops with gold jewelry.

The "Scream" actress' post drew warm messages from many of her celebrity pals. "Wow," singer Natasha Bedingfield commented, "Love you guys." On the other hand, "Grown Ups" actor David Spade joked, "Cropped again!" Meanwhile, "Ant-Man and the Wasp" actress Michelle Pfeiffer replied, "Happy 4th," and Tan France, who starred on "Queer Eye", chimed in, "Happy 4th, love."

Courteney's mini-reunion with her "Friends" co-stars came after James Corden surprised fans on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" with an epic reunion, which also included Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer. The episode saw the original cast ensemble doing a short "Carpool Karaoke" skit.

In the segment, James turned on the "Friends" theme song "I'll Be There for You", that got the stars singing along. Elsewhere in the episode, David talked about their much awaited reunion, "It was really meaningful and emotional to be on the set. And then to finally be in the same room together after all this time was really beautiful."

"Friends" ran from 1994 to 2004 on NBC. Lasting 10 seasons, it gained a new generation of fans when it debuted on Netflix in 2015. In "Friends: The Reunion", Courteney recalled moments when she was on set filming the hit sitcom.

"It was an incredible time," she said. "Everything came together. We became best friends through just the chemistry, the whole thing. It was life-changing and it forever will be - not just for us, but for people who watch it, and that's such a great feeling to carry forever. I'm really thankful, and I love you guys so much."
