The Duchess of Cambridge has been quarantining at home after coming into contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus following Wimbledon outing.

AceShowbiz - Britain's Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge is self-isolating, after coming into contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.

According to a spokesperson for Kensington Palace, the mother-of-three is "not experiencing any symptoms," but will self-isolate in line with the government's coronavirus guidelines.

"Her Royal Highness is not experiencing any symptoms, but is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home," the representative said.

Catherine was last seen in public attending the Wimbledon tennis tournament on Friday (01Jul21), where she toured the SW19 sporting venue meeting staff and sat with former tennis star Tim Henman to watch Jamie Murray play in the doubles.

A patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, she is now likely to miss the men's and women's final at the weekend (10-11Jul).

She had been due to attend a service in celebration of the NHS's 73rd anniversary at London's St. Paul's Cathedral on Monday (05Jul).

Her husband Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, contracted Covid-19 last year (20).

The Duke of Cambridge was recently reuniting with estranged brother, Prince Harry, in the sunken gardens of Kensington Palace to unveil the statue of their late mother, Princess Diana.

They said, "Today, on what would have been our Mother's 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength and character - qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better."

"Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy."
