Having spent much of the COVID lockdown perfecting creams and cosmetics, the 'Black Widow' actress will be stepping away from deals with L'Oreal Paris and other brands to focus on her own line.

AceShowbiz - Scarlett Johansson is launching a new beauty collection.
The actress reveals she spent much of the COVID lockdown perfecting creams and cosmetics and her first items will be available at the beginning of 2023.
She tells WWD.com, "I've been fascinated by the transformative power of beauty since I was a child. My mother instilled in me a passion for self care from my early teenage years."
And Scarlett will be stepping away from deals with L'Oreal Paris and other brands to focus on her own line, insisting it will be "true to me," adding, "The result is a clean, accessible approach to beauty."
In an interview with Allure, the "Black Widow" star said, "I created this brand to elevate clean, essential skin care." She added, "This will be a brand for everyone who wants their skin to look its best with minimal effort."
She has partnered with beauty writer Kate Foster, who says, "I met Scarlett almost two years ago. She shared her brand vision with me and right away, I was thinking about how we could turn it into a reality. It has been an incredible experience working alongside her."
Scarlett’s brand will be backed by the Najafi Companies. Of the collaboration, Jahm Najafi, the chief executive of Phoenix, Ariz.-based company, said, "We are passionate about supporting ambitious and thoughtful founders and management teams who lead with integrity and vision. Scarlett and Kate fit squarely in the type of leaders with whom we love to partner for the long term."
