Polo G Nabs First No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 Chart With 'Hall of Fame'

This week's Billboard 200 album chart also sees rap trio Migos, K-Pop girl group TWICE and band Maroon 5 hitting the Top 10 with their respective new albums.

AceShowbiz - Polo G celebrates a new milestone in his career this week. The rapper earns his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 album chart with his latest album "Hall of Fame". Released on June 11 via Columbia Records, the new album earns 143,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending June 17, according to MRC Data.

Of the sum, SEA units comprise 124,000 which is equaling 181.9 million on-demand streams of the album's tracks. Meanwhile, 18,000 of them are in the form of album sales with TEA units comprising a little over 1,000. Prior to this, Polo G entered the Top 10 with "The Goat" (No. 2 in 2020) and "Die a Legend" (No. 6 in 2019).

Trailing behind is Migos's "Culture III". The rap trio's new album takes the No. 2 spot in this week's chart after it earns 130,500 equivalent album units. The 19-track album has 106,000 in the form of SEA units. Album sales comprise 22,500 while nearly 2,000 are TEA units.

Falling one spot is Olivia Rodrigo's "Sour" that occupies No. 3 with 122,000 equivalent album units earned. Meanwhile, Lil Durk and Lil Baby's former leader "The Voice of the Heroes" descends from No. 1 to No. 3 in its second week with 73,000 units. As for Morgan Wallen's "Dangerous: The Double Album", it dips from No. 3 to No.5 with 50,000 units.

This week's chart also sees K-Pop girl group TWICE making its Billboard 200 debut with "Taste of Love", which bows at No. 6 after earning 46,000 equivalent album units. The set marks the top selling album of the week as its album sales comprise 43,000 of the total number. At No. 7 is Bo Burnham's "Inside (The Songs)" that soars high from No. 116 to No. 7 after its first full tracking week of activity, earning 37,000 equivalent album units.

Maroon 5's new album "Jordi", meanwhile, debuts at No. 8 with 37,000 equivalent album units. It marks the seventh top 10 effort for the group. Following it up is Moneybagg Yo's former No. 1 album "A Gangsta's Pain" which slips from No. 6 to No. 9 after earning 34,000 equivalent album units. Falling from No. 4 to No. 10 is J. Cole's "The Off-Season" with just under 34,000 units.
